Virginie Laverdure, known as Miss V is a singer-songwriter who has taken to the music scene in recent years. While completing film & theatre studies in the UK, Miss V met the funky DJ Ferno aka MadMud, who, upon hearing her thick, rich vocals snapped up the opportunity to work with her and harness her talent. As the song-writing process developed Miss V discovered her versatile styles in writing and singing. 'It's difficult to pin me down to one particular style. What ever I'm experiencing at the time just comes through....'

Virginie performs Jazz, Soul and Funk and first appeared with Grand Wazoo as a stand-by singer, then stepped up to full member in 2007, following Lucy Gale's departure. Miss V also occasionally performs with the John Montesante Quintet, singing Jazz.
